- Mages of Aven Series, #1-9: A new microfiction project! Every week, patrons at the Senators+ ($3 and up) levels will get a new 100-word story set in the world of the Aven Cycle. Each will feature one of Aven’s mages across the full spectrum of society: patricians and plebs, from high priests and tribunes to gamblers and cutthroats, Fire-forgers and Air-messengers and Earth-tenders, the virtuous and the nefarious and the just-trying-to-get-along. I hope these snippets will give readers a window into the larger world, beyond the cast of characters you’ll meet in From Unseen Fire.
